The future is here! While it has long looked like something from a sci-fi movie, the Tesla Hyperloop will revolutionize travel. The Tesla Hyperloop is a proposed mode of passenger and freight transportation. Above all, it’s an open-source vactrain design released by a joint team from Tesla and SpaceX. The new architecture of pods speeding through tunnels will literally push the boundaries. It is designed to reach speeds of about 700 mph! That is just a little under the speed of sound! That may sound scary but Hyperloop systems operate autonomously in an enclosed tube. In addition, this technology is not susceptible to weather, accidents, human error, or power outages. Its propulsion system is integrated into the tube and can only accelerate the pods to safe speeds. In other words, the Hyperloop will be the safest mode of transportation.
